Kayleigh started school yesterday! She was so excited, especially since we pass the school almost every day. She had a hard time coming up with what she did during the day, except to say that she was upset that they didn't get to play on the playground. Apparently, there is too much to learn in too little time for them to have a break to play. It doesn't look like they'll ever make it to the playground. At dinner, we were able to get her to open up a little more about her day.
Brian saw me get the camera out yesterday and immediately ran to the wall where we take our pictures and started saying, "Cheese!" The pictures were hilarious because he looks so pained in each one! He really was happy, though, I promise! Here are the best/worst pictures, however you look at it:

Brian makes funny faces. Good to know he's actually happy to have his pictures taken.
Loved talking to K after her first day. I'm sure she will love going to school even if she never gets to go on the playground...though I think they will make it out there one day
