OUCH!

My poor Kayleigh, who most of you know is not always the most coordinated on her feet, was trying to climb on the bed the other day. She slipped and hit her eyebrow on the bed frame! I heard the crash and went running in. I called to Erik to bring some ice, because it was already bruised and swollen. I know it was a bad fall because it took her a LONG time to recover. We had some children's ibuprofin, so we gave some to her to help with the pain that I'm sure she felt.

"Where are we???"

"Here we are!"
On a lighter note, sometimes Brian likes to hide behind our curtains in our bedroom. I got some pictures of him hiding and coming out. Kayleigh saw the camera and her opportunity to have her picture taken, so she jumped in.

Pictures

I am currently working out using the "10 Minute Trainer" videos, and Kayleigh likes to work out with me. I usually do it during nap time, and the other day when Kayleigh got up, she asked if she could workout. I let her, and she did the whole ten minutes. At the end she said, "I did it Mommy, and I didn't even sweat!"

Last night, Erik got the kids dressed after their bath. He put Kayleigh in Brian's jammmies, thinking it would be funny, or that she would stop him. She thought it was hilarious and didn't want to change. So, we put Brian in one of Kayleigh's big t-shirts that she'll sleep in sometimes and that's how they went to bed.

Updates

We have been busy lately just doing things around, and I guess I haven't been in the mood to blog.
Sometime last week, we ate dinner and then decided to go outside to plant some seeds that Kayleigh got for her birthday, along with a gardening kit. She and Brian also got some cute gardening gloves from Jenna, so the kids wore them for a bit while they worked. Since it was warm out and we had gotten some work done, we had popsicles on the patio. Brian usually tries to push different things out the doggie door, and this night was no different, but instead of pushing things outside, he was pushing them inside. You'll see what I mean in the pictures.

Yesterday was the first day of VBS. I am teaching this year, and it's the first year that Kayleigh is able to attend. We had a great first day, and both kids were worn out from being so busy all morning. I had to wake Kayleigh up because we were going to meet some friends for dinner. This is how she looked when I got upstairs:

When I saw her, I crept out of her room and downstairs as fast as I could, hoping she wouldn't wake up while I was gone, because I wanted to get her picture. She said it was her medicine...

Panama City Beach

We took a trip to PCB with our friends this weekend. They have a son who is just a couple of months older than Brian, and we had a blast with them at the beach. The weather was perfect, and the only time we thought it was going to rain was right before we were going out to dinner, so that didn't bother us. Erik and I haven't been to Panama City since we were engaged, we think, and a lot has changed since then! Here are a few pictures from our weekend.
