Dentist appointments

We are so proud of Brian for being such a big boy at the dentist yesterday!  It was his first time going, and although we had talked about and practiced what it would be like going to the dentist, you never know what his reaction will be once he's actually there.  When the hygenist called him back, he jumped up and followed her to the little room.  Then he jumped right up in the chair and laid down like he'd done it a million times before!  The dentist said his teeth look great, although he has a little bit of an overbite, probably caused by using a pacifier.  Oops.  The orthodonist is thrilled!!  :)

Kayleigh really is an old pro at the dentist, and she had another great visit.  She has perfect teeth and no cavities.  YAY!

Rosie

Rosie is our neighbor's cat who has decided our house is her second home.  We love having her around!  She comes running up to us whenever we are outside and gets plenty of attention from our family.  Unfortunately, she has snuck into our house a couple of times in the middle of the night, scaring us half to death.  I went out to the garage this evening to do a load of laundry and I found her in the laundry basket.  I told her to stay put so I could snap a couple of pictures, and then I had to put her back outside.

Can you tell what Ginger is looking at?

Can you see what Ginger sees?  I'll give you a hint:  it's a SNAKE!  Okay, it's an itty bitty tiny snake, but it's a snake.  The kids and I were eating lunch one day when Ginger started barking at something.  It didn't bother me, but Kayleigh wanted to go outside to investigate.  She came back in saying, "Mommy, there's a snake out there on its back!"  I immediately thought it would be much bigger than it was.  We watched while Ginger played with it.  When it stopped moving for awhile, she lost interest.  When I saw it moving again, I made sure to bring Ginger's attention back to it!  She definitely wounded it, but didn't kill it.  I hope that it went under the deck to die.

Happy Easter!

I can't believe I haven't posted all month.  Here is the Easter picture Jenna took of our family.
